WE'VE had two Defence Secretaries by the name of Healey, both Labour. The first was actually our longest serving, Denis Healey. The present one is John Healey.
John Healey got a degree in social science, became deputy of editor of the Parliament's magazine, moved to work in charities, then for trade unions, and then became an MP.
