Krazy Races Go-cart fans brave rain on their big day

HUNDREDS of people gathered in Bristol yesterday afternoon despite poor weather to watch the Krazy Races, a madcap set of go-cart races.
Over 40 weird and wonderful homemade carts created by local businesses, groups of friends and engineers, had two opportunities to race down the course in Victoria Park, Bedminster, in seach of the winners’ glory and to raise funds for charities.
The carts trundled down the narrow course in the sloping park between Windmill Hill and Totterdown. The drivers had to negotiate chicanes and a ramp included within the course.
