CLIFTON Robinsons secured their first point of the league season with a spirited 1-1 draw away to the University of Birmingham - a result that reflected the team’s growing confidence and determination.
From the first whistle, Clifton Robinsons came out with all guns blazing, dominating the early exchanges to create several chances. Victoria McCabe, leading the charge in attack was unlucky not to find the net, striking the post after a brilliant solo effort that had the Birmingham defence scrambling.
Against the run of play, the students capitalised on a quick counterattack to take the lead. Despite the setback, Clifton Robinsons kept their composure and continued to press, showing impressive teamwork and resilience through every quarter.
