Football Struber wants to see more from City in penalty area

City can “give the one or other per cent point more” when it comes to getting numbers into the penalty area, according to Gerhard Struber, with the City boss keen for his side to take “the next step” against Leicester City.The Robins are set to welcome Marti Cifuentes’ Foxes to Ashton Gate tonight as they look to get back to winning ways in the Championship. Having been relegated from the Premier League last term, Leicester sit 14th in the table, seven places but only two points adrift of City.

That gap could have been extended had the Reds not been beaten by Millwall last time out. While Struber’s side impressed against the Lions, a lack of cutting edge in the final third, partnered by a contentious decision or two, meant City were unable to score as they lost 1-0 at Ashton Gate.
