Football City rearrange games after Sky reveals TV selections

BRISTOL City have confirmed a new date and kickoff time for their early-season matches against Derby County at Pride Park and Oxford United at Ashton Gate after both matches were selected for broadcast by Sky Sports, writes Daniel Carter.
Gerhard Struber’s side were set to face John Eustace’s Rams at 3pm on Saturday, August 23, in what will be their third league game of the campaign, but will instead travel to Pride Park on Friday, August 22 for an 8pm kickoff.
The meeting with Derby, which will see City face former players Andi Weimann and Richard O'Donnell after the pair joined the Rams as free agents earlier this week, will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Football and mean that the Reds have an extended break before their next league game against Hull City on Saturday, August 30.
Following the September international break, the Robins’ trip to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday will remain scheduled for 3pm on Saturday, September 13, but the following weekend’s meeting with Oxford United has also been rearranged.
