Cricket Hammond delighted to sign new three-year Glo’sters contract

MILES Hammond has signed a three-year contract extension with Gloucestershire, committing his future to the club until the end of the 2028 season.

Hammond, 29, has become a central figure at the club since bursting on to the scene at the 2013 Cheltenham Cricket Festival.

Originally from Oxford, but born in Cheltenham, he has established deep roots in Bristol, endearing himself to supporters with his fluent stroke play, exceptional fielding, and distinctive hairstyles.

Hammond said: “I'm extremely excited to have signed a three-year extension at the club.

“I can’t wait for the challenges that lie ahead and am grateful to the club for their continued support.”

Throughout his career at Gloucestershire, Hammond has featured in more than 200 matches across all formats, amassing close to 8,000 runs.
