Converted shed available to rent for £1,100 a month
Bristol Post
|August 15, 2025
A TINY converted shed on the outskirts of Portishead is available to rent on Rightmove for £1,100 a month. Described as a “fully furnished studio flat", the property is effectively one room and a bathroom.
-
A kitchenette is squeezed next to the bed, at the foot of which lies a sofa facing a wall-mounted TV. Appropriately named ‘The Snug’, the flat measures just 16 square metres, or 172 square feet.
The average size of a purpose-built flat in the UK is 58 square metres, according to a government survey published in 2019.
The asking price of the flat is not far below the Bristol average, despite the property's miniscule size and location, about two miles away from central Portishead.
