A HISTORIC church in Keynsham is in desperate need of major repairs to preserve its place at the heart of the community.
Originally opened in 1835 as a Baptist place of worship, the Grade Il listed building on the High Street has transformed into a bustling community hub, seeing around 3,000 people walk through its doors each year for activities unrelated to religion. But now it is showing signs of serious wear - with a leaking roof, crumbling cornices, damp patches and draughty windows.
