MRS R says she's going to order a box of tomatoes.

Just in case, like. Just in case, that is, those plants she has growing in the greenhouse plus the couple outdoors don't come up with the goods.

Well, they look fine to me, but then, I'm no expert. Mrs R, on the other hand, is, and furthermore if she says she is harbouring a distinct premonition that this year’s tomato crop isn’t up to the mark and will leave us somewhat short of supplies, I am not about to argue with her.

But I know full well what will happen. The box of tomatoes will be bought and be delivered, and the next day all the domestic tomato plants will suddenly be groaning with fruit, straining against the string supporting them as they battle against the iron will of gravity.
