This weekend, Fire In Your Soul - the independent festival set on the banks of Chew Valley Lake - is inviting families to unplug, reconnect and get their hands dirty.

The event will feature a full weekend of immersive nature play and forest learning, delivered by Chew Magna-based outdoor education pioneers Earthwise with more activities still to be announced.

The new collaboration underscores the festival's growing focus on sustainability, wellbeing and intergenerational experiences. From crafting with forest materials to cooking over campfires, the Earthwise activities add a hands-on, muddy-boots counterpoint to the festival's rich mix of music, talks and wellness sessions.

"We wanted to create a space where kids aren't sidelined, but centred where families can explore, play and learn together,” says Luke Hasell, founder of Fire In Your Soul. “Partnering with Earthwise felt like the most natural way to do that.”
