'Assessing options' Rovers bosses considering move from The Mem

BRISTOL Rovers are considering leaving the Memorial Stadium after studies into redeveloping the ground returned significant issues.

Chairman Hussain AlSaeed revealed the club is now assessing other options if expanding the current site proves impossible.

The Kuwaiti businessman confirmed extensive traffic and architectural surveys had raised problems.

Mr AlSaeed said: "Unfortunately as we have got those reports back all with red flags, in what we're trying to do or what we are trying to achieve.

"Now the main thing that we are looking for is really making the stadium very comforting and inviting for the families and children."
