Appeal in sex assault investigation

INVESTIGATORS have released CCTV stills of two men they hope can help them with an ongoing investigation into an alleged sexual assault in Bristol city centre.

Avon and Somerset Police said a woman, aged in her late teens, was with friends when she was approached by a man in Merchant Street between 5.30pm and 5.45pm on Wednesday April 30 this year.

A man was reported to have gestured to the victim before he approached and sexually assaulted her, but she was able to flee and did not suffer any physical injuries.
