Show of strength to be twinned with taste test

VISITORS to Boston and local residents alike can expect to see feats of superhuman endurance at a competition like no other in the town centre this summer.

Following the previous years' competition, 'Boston's Strongest' will be returning to Boston Market Place on the same day as the Food Fest - Sunday July 13, 2025.

Contestants will compete in six categories, with cash prizes and trophies awarded to the top three places.

To win the titles of the six categories, competitors will have to compete in a series of gruelling events, including deadlifting a car, pulling a lorry and lifting giant concrete balls.

Last year, the Atlas Stones was won by Tom Dust and Kirsty Coulson, the Monster Dumbbell by Ramunas Domkus, the Log Press by Dean Mason and the Fire Engine Pull by Justin Coulson.
