The volunteer-run Blairgowrie and Rattray book festival takes place over the weekend of October 4-5 at the community campus in the town, and, as in previous years, will feature a wide-ranging programme of sessions designed to appeal to readers of all genres.

The lineup will be announced at 2pm on Saturday, July 19, at the St Catharine's Centre on George Street in Blairgowrie.

BOOKMARK chairperson Gail Wylie, will reveal the programme after a conversation between author Carys Davies, whose novel Clear was the winner of the BOOKMARK Book of The Year award in 2024, and Suzanne Graham.

Gail said: "We're very much looking forward to our launch event on Saturday where we will announce the exciting lineup of writers, both well-known and new, who are coming to Blairgowrie's Community Campus this October for our main festival weekend.

"As well as the programme announcement, we're delighted to welcome Carys Davies to the BOOKMARK stage.
