Zavateri can see off Dewhurst opposition

Zavateri can come out on top in an eagerly-awaited battle with Gstaad and Distant Storm to maintain his perfect juvenile record and claim the Darley Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket.

Eve Johnson Houghton has already confirmed the Group One contest will be her star colt’s final start of a stunning campaign, which has seen the two-year-old land the July Stakes, Vintage Stakes and the Vincent O'Brien National Stakes.

That latter saw a titanic tussle with Aidan O’Brien’s Gstaad, coming out on top by a head at the Curragh.
