Seasiders pay price for their set piece struggles

Two second-half goals did the damage as Steve Bruce's players failed to back up their first win of the season against Huddersfield Town last weekend.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell's penalty save had kept the Seasiders on level terms at the end of the first half.

However, they were beaten by a Jamie McDonnell double after the break as set pieces once again proved problematic.

Peacock-Farrell was called into action in the opening exchanges, with the Birmingham City loanee doing well to push away an effort from distance by Regan Hendry.

Another early opportunity came Mansfield's way shortly afterwards as Will Evans' half-volley flew over.
