Hundreds of youths in stand off with police outside party

Hundreds of youths were involved in a stand off with police during an evening of Hallowe'en madness.

Fireworks were set off at special constables and in a separate incident three people were arrested when a house party spiralled out of control.

The fireworks attack happened in Memorial Park in Fleetwood after police were called to reports of yobs firing rockets at members of the public.

When officers arrived situation escalated as they came under fire and police are now trawling CCTV to try to identify those responsible.
