Fylde RFC were victorious in their National Two North match at Rossendale

Nine tries to one gave Fylde a sixth successive away win as they chase National Two North's top four.

Playing up the slope, they started in the most positive way as Adam Lanigan scored a third-minute try in the corner.

Rossendale were on the scoreboard four minutes later with a penalty from Daniel Holland, who saw yellow on 13 minutes for a body check on Gabe Maguire near the line.

The referee also awarded a penalty try to Fylde, who then took advantage of their extra man in the 22nd minute.

They stole a Rossendale lineout before Maguire and David Fairbrother combined for Lanigan to again score in the corner as Fylde led 17-3.
