England will be hoping to dominate the sporting landscape in 2026 by ending 60 years of hurt and winning the World Cup.

Thomas Tuchel’s side will head to North America as one of the favourites to win, with the German boss vowing to “put a second star on the shirt”.

England's crop of generational talent will be hoping to come good in the United States, Mexico and Canada in June and July.

Jude Bellingham is set to star while Harry Kane might only have one chance left as England aim to get the better of the likes of Argentina, Spain, France and Brazil, having been drawn against Croatia, Ghana and Panama in their group.

The newly expanded 48-team tournament kicks off in Mexico on June 11 with the showpiece in New York on July 19.
