Eat your way to better memory
Blackpool Gazette
|October 11, 2025
Did you know you can eat your way to a better memory? Memory loss can be a normal part of getting older, but for some of us it can have a significant impact on our daily life.
Our brains require specific nutrients to function and without them our memory and concentration may decline. This can be especially problematic for people who have begun to lose their appetite.
Research on the importance of nutrition in age related memory loss is very positive. A study some years ago at Oxford University reported that people with early signs of memory loss who were given B vitamins, showed up to 73% less brain shrinkage across a two year period.
