WM force to be held up to account over grooming

WEST Midlands Police will be held accountable over how they investigate grooming, the crime commissioner pledged.

WEST Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Foster also pledged to safeguard and promote the welfare of victims and ensure that offenders are held to account and are brought to justice.
He said: "I am committed to holding West Midlands Police (WMP) to account and working with the Chief Constable to ensure the force uses all the powers available to them, to prevent and tackle all child sexual exploitation and abuse.
