A MOATED medieval fortress 20 minutes from Birmingham and Coventry, which opens its gates to the public for just one day each year, is offering a rare glimpse into over six centuries of history.

This year’s Maxstoke Castle Annual Charity Open Day is scheduled for Sunday, June 15, from 11am to 5pm. Visitors can explore the castle's formal and informal gardens at their leisure tour the ceremonial rooms within the castle.
Plants and gift stalls, tombola, garden games and delicious homemade cakes at our famous tea tent.
