PATIENCE is the key for defender Yerson Mosquera as he continues his integration back into the Wolves fold.

- By DAN NEWBOULD

The 24-year-old Colombian suffered a serious knee injury last season and has spent the last ten months recovering at Compton Park but has been involved in preseason.

With the Premier League returning this weekend, he said: “My knee feels okay. I didn’t rush to be back quicker because I need to be careful. This was my first time with minutes in the game (against Girona and Celta Vigo) and I need to stay at my most comfortable, to make sure I’m ready for the next time and I will be more prepared for that.

“I’m happy to be back. It’s really exciting to play again and prepare for this moment. When you have a long time outside it's difficult because we love to play football. It was really important for me when I took to the pitch for my first minutes, for my first time back.
