A BIRMINGHAM dad has told of the terrifying moment he and his son were forced to dart out the way of the car which ploughed into a crowd of people at Liverpool's Premier League victory parade.

Lifelong Liverpool fan Chris King-Hill was in the city’s Water Street celebrating with his 13-year-old son Elijah when they heard “banging” and “people shouting”.

The pair realised something wasn’t right when the shouts quickly turned into screams.

Chris, 47, said they saw people running away and then suddenly a Ford Galaxy hurtling towards them.

“We saw a guy go over the bonnet as the car came towards us,’ said Chris, who currently lives with his family in Hollywood, Wythall.
