Villa fired warning as Unai's key ally targeted!

The Spanish transfer guru has been working at Villa for two years after leaving Sevilla for the second time in his career.

A group called La Tercera Via, which translates as The Third Way, is aiming to take control of the club and restore its fortunes following a disastrous campaign.

Sevilla finished 17th in La Liga last season, narrowly avoiding relegation by just one point after losing 17 matches.

Antonio Lappi and Fede Quintero, key members of La Tercera Via, are now pushing to finalise the takeover.

Quintero has spoken publicly about his desire to take Monchi back to his homeland.

"Only one thing has changed to make the model fail," he said. "The data is there. There’s a person who went to Rome for two years and is now in Birmingham.
