Striking bins workers blamed as lorries stuck in depots

RESIDENTS faced another day of missed waste collections after bin lorries were prevented from resuming their rounds.

Birmingham City Council said “very few" of its waste wagons were able to leave to depots in Tyseley, Perry Barr and Kings Norton yesterday morning and blamed striking workers.
