Ryan praises side for their bounce back

ALBION boss Ryan Mason has praised his side's response to going a goal down.

With recent results, including a last-gasp midweek defeat to Charlton, and it being an almost must win game against struggling Oxford United, the last thing Mason and the fans wanted was to go a goal down to ex-loanee Will Lankshear.

But the Baggies roared straight back though a Greg Leigh own goal and Aune Heggebo strike to win 2-1.

Mason said: “The players got what they deserved. Our response was excellent to going a goal down. We spoke a lot about showing personality and the group really did that.
