INVICTUS GAMES SUPPORTERS TO STAY AT PALACE AS COUNTDOWN BEGINS TO BIRMINGHAM 2027

- RUSSELL MYERS & ANNABAL BAGDI

PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle will reportedly stay at a royal residence when they bring their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to the UK next month.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to make an appearance in Birmingham at the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games on Friday, July 10.

Sources close to the Sussexes said Meghan has taken a “considerable interest” in the Invictus Games and is “determined” to make the visit to Birmingham.

The Olympics-type sporting event involving injured service personnel from across the world has been a global success.

The Birmingham event marks a return to his home country for the first time since its inception in 2014.

It will come as part of a week-long trip to the UK during July.
