MORGAN Rogers admits the trust Unai Emery has placed in him “means everything” at this stage of his career.
The 23-year-old joined Villa from Middlesbrough in a deal worth around £15 million in January 2024, after being personally identified by Emery, who was impressed by the forward while preparing for an FA Cup tie at the Riverside.
Rogers showed glimpses of his potential in the second half of the 2023/24 campaign, before truly shining the following season, recording 27 goal involvements across 54 appearances in all competitions.
