ALBION head coach Ryan Mason is confident midfield diamond Isaac Price will continue to improve in the coming months and years after an excellent beginning to the new Championship campaign.

- By JOSEPH CHAPMAN

The 21-year-old Northern Ireland international, signed from Standard Liege in January for a small sum, has already demonstrated the potential he possesses; the Everton academy product has been utilised by Mason as an advanced midfielder and has already excelled.

Having scored the winner in the opening-day Championship victory over Blackburn, he turned provider on Tuesday night in the Carabao Cup defeat to Derby at The Hawthorns, producing a perfectly-weighted header for Aune Heggebo, who bagged his first goal in Albion colours.

Mason agrees Price has a high ceiling and believes there is plenty more to come.
