Police deny they have given up in hunt for rapists

WEST Midlands Police have released new details about the horrific Oldbury rape attack amid frustration about why the ten-week investigation has failed to bring justice for the victim.

There remain 'unanswered questions, say community leaders, who fear the police are being 'complacent.

But the force said they are doing all they can to resolve the case, with hundreds of police hours dedicated to the investigation so far.

The young victim, in her 20s and of Sikh heritage, was dragged into bushes on parkland off Tame Road in Oldbury on September 9, at around 8.30am, as she walked to work.

Her attackers are said to be two white men.

One of them allegedly made a racist comment before departing, with police calling the attack 'racially aggravated.
