Birmingham Mail

W OLVES remain the only team in the Premier League and EFL without a win and sit bottom of the Premier League with just two points from their nine league games.

A visibly angry Wolves boss Vitor Pereira is led away after confronting fans on Sunday. Inset, happy Frank Lampard
Some of their supporters are not happy!
In contrast, free-scoring Coventry City are the only unbeaten team and head the Championship after 12 matches with 28 points - five clear of the playoff positions. Their supporters think Christmas has come early!
Ironically, Wolves are the only Midlands club left in the Carabao Cup. They stage their fourth round tie at home to Chelsea tomorrow night (7.45pm Sky Sports Plus) before travelling to Fulham on Saturday in the Premier League.
Fulham are one place above the relegation zone. Then on Saturday, week they go to Chelsea at 8pm (Sky Sports).
On Sunday, Wolves lost 3-2 against Burnley. They were 2-0 down, pulled back to 2-2, and then hit the Burnley crossbar with a freekick before substitute Lyle Foster scored Burnley's winner in the 95th minute to give his side their first away win of the season.
But not before the final whistle when the Burnley goalkeeper Martin Dubravka had to make a world class save to prevent Santiago Bueno rescuing a point for Wolves who are now six points from safety.
That is the way it goes when things are going wrong.
Last season, Wolves did not win any of their opening ten games. This time, they have played the three promoted teams and been beaten by all three ... Leeds, Sunderland and Burnley.
Last time, Wolves had to play the top nine sides and the eventual FA Cup winners. This time, Wolves look to be in trouble.
