Matt vents anger but calls Shots on repeat

MATT Taylor admitted he was furious Solihull Moors had to settle for a point in midweek - but equally convinced they will win 'a lot more games' this season if they repeat the performance at Carlisle United.
-
The Moors head coach says the squad set their standards with a display he hailed as “excellent to a man”.
Moors threatened to upset title favourites Carlisle United on Tuesday night after summer signing Dan Creaney opened his goals account to put them ahead on 69 minutes at Brunton Park, only to concede an equaliser with ten minutes left.
It meant a third draw from three Enterprise National League fixtures and Taylor's men will be determined to chalk up their first win today at home to Aldershot Town.
The Shots have yet to record a point this season, having lost all their three league fixtures 3-2 including to Eastleigh on Tuesday night.
But Taylor insists Moors' simple priority is themselves - and repeating the effort they produced against Carlisle.
"My big emotion was anger - that should have been three points, not one point," he said.
"That shows how far the group have come and also the expectation the players now have of each other.
"To a man the team was excellent. When we had the ball I felt far more comfortable that we were willing to play and take risks. We did that," he said.
