Man 'shot in stomach during drugs deal row'

A MAN was shot in the stomach after attempting to buy drugs from a house in Handsworth, a court has heard.

Ibrar Hussain drove his VW Golf to Hamstead Road in the early hours of February 1 last year in order to purchase drugs from someone known as 'Robbie G' a jury was told.

But when he arrived it is alleged Tyrone Solomon left the property, got into a row with Mr Hussain and shot him in the abdomen.

Mr Hussain managed to get to hospital and survived, Birmingham Crown Court was told as the case opened.
