Man jailed after threat to 'chop up girlfriend and put body in the freezer'

BRUM BOYFRIEND ADMITTED COERCIVE AND CONTROLLING BEHAVIOUR
A CONTROLLING boyfriend threatened to chop up his partner and put her body in the freezer.
Declan McKeown made the woman delete her friends from her phone and social media as well as repeatedly hurled abusive insults towards her.
The 35-year-old BMW plant worker of Beauchamp Road, Kings Heath, was sentenced to two years and eight months at Birmingham Crown Court.
He had admitted an offence of controlling and coercive behaviour on the day he was due to go on trial.
