VILLA will play Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-finals after beating Club Brugge 3-0 in last night's second leg and 6-1 on aggregate.
Unai Emery's side started the second leg with a two-goal lead having won 3-1 at the Jan Breydel Stadium last Tuesday and were playing against 10 men for the vast majority of the game after Kyriani Sabbe was sent off in the 17th minute.
Emi Martinez played an inch-perfect long ball to Rashford in behind, who was bearing down on Simon Mignolet in the Brugge goal, before Sabbe brought him down outside the box.
In the 31st minute, Youri Tielemans found Ollie Watkins making a run past Joel Ordonez, but the Brugge defender recovered well and dispossessed the striker.
Rashford was presented with Villa's best chance of the half after being picked out by Tyrone Mings. On his weaker side, Rashford could only find the side-netting.
After being introduced for the start of the second half, Leon Bailey found Marco Asensio inside the box with a clever pass, before the Spaniard converted from close range.
