Fundraiser for lad, 2, who doesn't recognise parents

THE parents of a two-year-old boy who doesn’t recognise them are fundraising for a stroller that would change their lives.

Dean and Sharon Hillman, who are from Oldbury and Birmingham, discovered their son Mason had complex needs when he reached six months old.

Mason, who will turn three later this year, has intellectual disability and is developmentally-delayed, nonverbal, and has no awareness of danger or his surroundings.

He doesn’t yet recognise his parents and struggles with hypermobility which causes his ankles to give way when he walks.
