Family raising cash for little Dottie

A MUM has told how her youngest daughter was diagnosed with a rare condition thanks to nursery workers. Gemma Loveridge, 41, noticed that her two-year-old daughter, Dottie Byfield, was not meeting milestones, but after the tot started nursery, workers picked up on what they called her 'quirky behaviour'.

The mum-of four-took Dottie for tests which revealed she had dup15q syndrome, a genetic disorder which causes autism, epilepsy and developmental delays. Those with the condition rarely develop a mental age above that of a three-year-old. Gemma
