Doc charged with sex attacks on 38 patients

A FORMER doctor from Birmingham has been charged over alleged sexual assaults carried out against 38 victims who were patients in his care.

Nathaniel Spencer, 38, from Quinton, has been charged with 15 counts of sexual assault and 17 counts of assault by penetration.

He also faces nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13, three counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration, and one count of attempting to assault by penetration.

The 45 charges followed a detailed investigation by Staffordshire Police, the Crown Prosecution Service said, which looked at alleged offences against 38 patients between 2017 and 2021.
