City centre bars mixing pleasure with raising funds

A GROUP of city centre bars and restaurants have raised over £34,700 for Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity with a specially-created mocktail.

Aluna, Siamais and Lulu Wild, which are all part of the Enchanted Ventures restaurant group, began supporting Birmingham Children's Hospital Charity in 2024, after the cause came out top in a staff vote.

Many members of the team have had their own experiences at the hospital, either as a patient or a parent, and many others knew someone else who had been treated there.

To support Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, the group's specialist bar mixers set to work to create a new, alcohol-free drink to add to their menus, to be sold at £6 with 20 per cent to be donated to the charity.
