'Christmas dinner lady' cooking up 100+ meals

A SOLIHULL mum is preparing over 100 Christmas dinners for her local community this year, insisting “everybody deserves a full tum on Christmas Day'.
Amanda O'Neill, 42, has been serving up festive meals for those unable to afford their own for four years, and following this year’s efforts she will have delivered more than 220 dinners to residents in her area.
She started creating Christmas lunches from her own kitchen in north Solihull, earning her the nickname “the Christmas dinner lady” among neighbours. This year, she'll be catering for 108 people, ensuring they receive a festive feast they would otherwise miss out on.
Amanda, originally from Sunderland, now lives in Solihull with her husband and two children.
