CEO in pledge to find a new home for Brummies

The Curtis Sport Brummies completed their senior 2025 campaign with a 53-37 defeat at Leicester on Thursday, 72 hours after saying farewell to their Perry Barr home, which is closing for redevelopment.

Tolley, who took over the club in 2022 when they were threatened by closure, says his determination to see a Birmingham team on track again in the future remains as high as ever.

He said: “It does hit you that that was the final meeting in the Premiership for Birmingham Brummies.

“Yes, we've lost the stadium, but we are still Birmingham Brummies and we'll see if we can find another home for ourselves.

“We shan’t give up on that, and there’s lots in the pipeline. Let's find another home for the Brummies.”

Tolley praised his riders for a battling effort at the Hydroscand Arena against a powerful Leicester team who are going for the league title.
