Injuries mounting at this crucial stage

Bath Rugby will be sweating on injuries to star backs Max Ojomoh and Will Muir following Saturday's hard-fought 26-24 win away at Sandy Park with a congested schedule of games to come for the ambitious club.

A leg injury to centre Ojomoh comes as a particular blow with head of rugby Johann van Graan looking to the emerging talent to fill the void left by Ollie Lawrence's Achilles injury which has cut his season short.

Despite having such an enviable squad, Bath are also feeling the strain on the wing with Joe Cokanasiga having suffered an ankle injury away in Pau two weeks ago and Regan Grace having left the club midway through the season to join Cardiff.

Providing an update post-match, van Graan said: “They look like quite nasty injuries, to be fair. Will took a shot to the head. He's fine now in the changing room.

“Max Ojomoh looks like somewhere between an ankle and a knee. Obviously, we will take our time. You know he's been playing such good rugby at the moment.
