A large crowd gathered on Friday at Swindon CC for the NCCA Showcase game between Wiltshire and Glamorgan.

First-class county pushed all the way

There was superb entertainment, with both sides playing their part in a thrilling draw.

Following the ladies' game, Wiltshire elected to field and saw Rhys Baker and William Brown bowl with pace and purpose. Baker managed a brilliant run out, before Jake Goodwin snaffled the second wicket with a catch off Baker's bowling to make it 22-2.

Despite Charan Chahal also trapping a batter lbw, Glamorgan were going at ten runs an over before Wadworth Man of the Match Alfie Johnson (4-0-15-2) immediately made an impact. After a simple and bowled, Johnson trapped his next victim lbw to make it 68-5.
