Thailand eye top-16 finish as Worlds hit home court

Thailand are aiming to reach the last 16 of the FIVB Women’s World Championship, which will take place later this month.

The championship will be held from Aug 22-Sept 7, with the preliminary phase taking place in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Nakhon Ratchasima and Phuket.
With less than a week to go before the start of the championship, coach Kiatipong Ratchatakriengkrai said the morale within the team is high.
“We have no injury worries and the players are determined to do well and reach the last 16 of the World Championship/’ he said.
