Suspected rebels stage attacks

The Internal Security Operations Command (Isoc) yesterday condemned the attacks, describing them as unacceptable acts targeting civilians and public places that had caused damage to lives and property while undermining peace in the southern border provinces.

The most serious attacks occurred between late Sunday and the early hours of yesterday, when suspected insurgents struck two petrol stations along Highway 42 linking Pattani and Narathiwat.
