RTP clarifies temp traffic warning rule

The Royal Thai Police (RTP) yesterday clarified a temporary traffic enforcement measure that allows officers to issue warnings before fines are applied.
The policy applies only to on-the-spot violations and excludes cases involving unpaid tickets.
Deputy national police chief Pol Gen Samran Nualma said traffic officers across the country will issue verbal warnings before imposing fines for offences within their authority.
