'Retaliation' claim after task force border crossing refusals

Tensions flared in Sa Kaeo's Aranyaprathet district after the Burapha Task Force imposed a strict ban on all Cambodian-registered motorcycles, modified vehicles and two-wheel or larger carts from crossing into Thailand.
The move was seen as a response to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet's announcement on Sunday that the country would suspend fuel and gas imports from Thailand starting from midnight.
“Fuel supply companies in Cambodia are able to import sufficiently from other sources to meet domestic fuel and gas demands within the country,” the Cambodian leader announced.
