Patama demands a polls rule shake-up

Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, an International Olympic Committee (IOC) member, has urged the new president of the National Olympic Committee of Thai land (NOCT), Pimol Srivikorn, to amend the organisation's charter, including the election procedure, to align with the IOC's charter to ensure governance is based on integrity and international standards.

Khunying Patama congratulated Pimol, the president of the Taekwondo Association of Thailand, on his election as the new NOCT president on Tues day. She acknowledged his ambitious agenda and extended her appreciation for his leadership.

Addressing the candidacy of Suchai Pornchaisakudom, the president of the Lawn Tennis Association of Thailand, she noted his unwavering passion for sports-evident in his consistent support for boxing and tennis and expressed hope that he would continue to contrib ute his expertise to the advancement of Thai sports.
