Panel to thrash out new online booze sales rules

The Department of Disease Control (DDC) is studying the sale of alcoholic beverages through online platforms to develop regulations for the sector.
Regulations are needed because there are still limitations on selling alcoholic beverages directly to consumers online and state agencies need to ensure compliance and prevent potential social, health and legal impacts, the DDC said yesterday.
